Key Details

No experience is required, only a great attitude. We focus on skills and fun - everyone plays!
We aim to have teams at all age levels, but this depends on coach and player availability at each level.
The season starts during week of February 23 and run through mid-May
Teams practice on two weekday evenings a week, except 6U division which practices one evening a week.
Each team plays a game weekly on Saturday. There may be a few Friday evening games as well.
Practices are primarily at Mountain View fields, with some younger teams practicing in Los Altos.
Games will be in Mountain View, Los Altos, and Palo Alto. Older divisions (12U and above) may also play games in other nearby cities.
More competitive Select (Redhawks) teams may be available for ages 8U and older, if there is enough coach and player interest. These teams will practice or play a game on Sundays, in addition to their rec team participation.

2025-26 Divisions

We strongly prefer players to play in the division designated by their birthday, but we know there can be reasons that might not be the best fit for every player. If you have questions/concerns about your player's division, please reach out to leadplayeragent@mvlags.org to discuss if playing up or down will be a better fit for your player.

Spring 2026 Fees

Player fees includes uniform shirt and socks.

6U: $200 until Dec 31, $225 Jan 1 and after
8U: $250 until Dec 31, $275 Jan 1 and after
10U: $275 until Dec 31, $300 Jan 1 and after
12U/14U: $300 until Dec 31, $325 Jan1 and after

*All division prices will increase by $25 on Jan 1

MVLAGS aims to support any player who wants to play softball regardless of ability to pay. We offer partial and full scholarships for your player, along with equipment-lending/used equipment programs. We do not require any special forms or documentation for scholarships or equipment.
