RECREATIONAL DIVISIONS

MVLAGS is a rec-first softball league offering youth girls softball at the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and as often as possible, the 14U levels. What does "rec softball" mean? It means a safe and friendly environment to learn and play the game of softball where everyone plays! Playing time is shared as equally as possible amongst all members of the team.

Practice and game schedules:

6U - 1-2 practices per week (1 during the week; 1 on weekend if no game). After about 2-3 weeks of practice most weekends will have 1 game. Practices can be MW or Tu/Thu for 60 mins and start anywhere from 430-530pm depending on the coach. Games are usually on weekends for 60 mins and starting times vary.

8U-12U - 2 practices per week; 1 game usually on weekend, some games on week nights instead of practice. Practices can be MW or Tu/Thu for 90 mins and start anywhere from 430-530pm depending on the coach. Games are about 75 mins usually on weekends with varying starting times.
