RECREATIONAL TEAMS
Overview
MVLAGS is a recreational-first softball league offering youth girls softball at the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and when possible, the 14U levels.

Recreational Softball provides a safe and friendly environment to learn and play the game of softball, focusing on player development. Players learn how to play all team positions, and playing time is shared as equally as possible among all members of the team.

MVLAGS runs two recreational seasons in spring and fall, with the occasional third summer recreational season based on interest and player/coach availability.
​​​​​Age-Based Divisions
Division formation is based on USA Softball's age ranges for the current season. We strongly prefer players to play in the division designated by their birthday, but we know there can be reasons that might not be the best fit for every player.​​​ ​​ If you have questions/concerns about your player's division, please reach out to leadplayeragent@mvlags.org to discuss if playing up or down will be a better fit for your player.
