Umpire Positions for MVLA Girls Softball

Are you interested in being an umpire for MVLA Girls Softball games?  You can earn money as an umpire in our league, and see the game from a whole new perspective!

Umpires officiate games, enforce the rules, make judgment calls on plays, and monitor the conduct and safety of the participants.  Umpires in MVLA Girls Softball are paid for each game, with pay based on the division of the game officiated and number of umpires.  

Youth Umpire positions are also available for girls over the age of 13, who officiate lower-division games based on their experience and skill

Our Umpire-in-Chief schedules them on a game by game basis depending on the game schedule and the availability of our umpire pool.

Training is required to participate, and is provided by the experienced umpires in the League.
