Welcome to Mountain View-Los Altos Girls Softball!

The deadline to sign up and be guaranteed a spot on a team has passed.    However, our 6U and 14/16U divisions have a few openings which will be filled first-come, first-served for players who sign up in those divisions.

The other divisions will be placing interested players into a waitpool and we will contact families as space becomes available.   If you do not get a spot on a team, your registration will be fully refunded.

Click here to read the league's most recent newsletter - it includes info about a new opportunity for players in the 12U division who are interested in a competitive travel team this spring.

Skills Evaluation - Mandatory for 10U, 12U and 14U+ players
  • All Day Event Ical_event_icon
  • Graham Middle School 1175 Castro St. Mtn View
  • All players born in 2005 or earlier (playing in 10U, 12U or 14U+ divisions) are required to come to our skills evaluation.

There will be no make-up day/time, players need to come on Saturday, Jan 10th.

The purpose of the skills evaluation is to assess player skills in order to form balanced teams in the 10U, 12U and 14/16U divisions.  Players will rotate through a series of activities and the evaluations will be used only to build teams that are balanced by skill and experience.  All teams will have some girls who are experienced players as well as some who are new to softball.  This is not a tryout, everyone gets placed on a team and will play this spring!

In order to get 250 girls through the skills rotations, we are grouping girls by divisions and last names.  Any player who wants to be evaluated as a pitcher or catcher (and all girls who played on Nova teams this summer or fall) should come to the Pitchers / Catchers Evaluations AND the general skills evaluations for their division.

The exact schedule will be announced shortly.
