Welcome to Mountain View-Los Altos Girls Softball!

To play spring recreational softball, the deadline to be guaranteed a spot on a team has passed.  However, you may sign your girl up to be added to the league's waitpool.  

Girls in Action - Championship Playoffs

Check out a softball game -- spring championship games are broadcast on the local cable station, KMVT.  Listening to the commentary you'll learn a lot about the league.

  • Come out and meet your teammates! Get your uniforms! Tonight is for 6U, 12U and 14/16U teams.

    6U players and parents - 6:15-7:15pm (please do not arrive until after 6pm)

    12U and 14/16U players and parents - 7:45-8:45pm

Opening Day Celebration
  • 8:30am-10:00pm (PST) Ical_event_icon
  • American Girl field at Stevenson Park 750 San Pierre Way, Mountain View
  • Wear your new uniform and run the bases on the American Girl field with your team! Come celebrate the start of the spring softball season.

    Schedule of Events:

    Time 8:30-8:50am

    - Arrive with your team in full uniform and bring your banner. Location for each team will designated by a flag on the field

    – Ceremonies - 9am

    • Flag Ceremony and Pledge by the Girl Scouts
    • National Anthem
    • Welcome from the League and local leaders
    • Each team is introduced and runs the bases together
    • First Pitch
    • Picture of the entire league (all teams)
    • The celebration concludes when the President says 'Play Ball!'


    Key Points for Team Managers:

    • Players and Staff should wear their uniforms and bring their team banner.
    • Players and staff should arrive between 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. to give them enough time to park, find their team and be lined up on the field by 8:50 a.m.
    • Girls will be asked to run the bases after their team is introduced.
    • Don't leave after that - there will be a group picture taken after teams are announced.

    ​Two teams will play the first game at American Girl field immediately following the Opening Day celebration. Hang out and let your daughters see older players who started out on younger teams.
